Landslide victory: Bobby Cameron re-elected FSIN chief over Delbert Wapass
Bobby Cameron has been re-elected to a second term as chief of the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN) in a landslide victory over his lone challenger, Thunderchild First Nation Chief Delbert Wapass.
Cameron, a former teacher from Witchekan Lake First Nation, received 727, or 76.6 per cent, of the vote. Wapass, also a former teacher, received 216 votes, or 22.8 per cent, of the 949 ballots cast in the election held Wednesday and Thursday in Saskatoon.
