Jordon Cooper: The beginning of the end

My column hasn’t been here since the end of May. It was rather unexpected. On the night when I write my column and put it together, I found myself at Royal University Hospital with a sharp pain in my side. I was afraid it was appendicitis. It wasn’t. It was colon cancer that has spread to my liver.
I am only 43 and thought to myself that cancer would be easy to overcome. Later I was told that it was chronic but manageable. So much for being easy. A few days later I was told that the
