Jordon Cooke earns Canada West star of the week honours
University of Saskatchewan men’s hockey goaltender Jordon Cooke was named the Canada West male first star of the week after he made 77 of 78 stops over two games on the weekend, helping the Huskies sweep the visiting University of Calgary Dinos 4-1 on Friday and 2-0 on Saturday.
Cooke stopped 37 of 38 shots in Friday’s game and went on to record his third shutout of the season on Saturday while making 40 saves.
