Interim Meewasin CEO will not apply to be permanent leader

The search for a new leader for the Meewasin Valley Authority has started.
The MVA revealed Friday that it has started advertising for a new permanent chief executive officer.
Interim CEO Doug Porteous said Friday he does not intend to apply for the permanent job.
Porteous took over as interim CEO shortly after the Meewasin board fired Lloyd Isaak in May over differences in how the non-profit agency moves forward in the wake of crippling provincial funding cuts.
