Inquest to determine if inmate's death at Saskatoon Correctional Centre was preventable

A public inquest will be held to determine if the death of a 49-year-old man at the Saskatoon Provincial Correctional Centre cold have been prevented.
Gerald Burnouf was found unresponsive in his cell at the Saskatoon Provincial Correctional Centre in early October 2016, according to a government news release.
Despite attempts to revive Burnouf with CPR, he was pronounced dead at the facility.
