Huskies' Lewis earns weekly conference honours

University of Saskatchewan Huskies’ defensive back Bowan Lewis is the Canada West football defensive player of the week.
Lewis recorded a game-high 10.5 tackles during the Huskies’ 31-28 overtime semifinal playoff victory over the British Columbia Thunderbirds this past Saturday. The victory sends Saskatchewan into Saturday’s conference final against the undefeated Calgary Dinos, who beat the Manitoba Bisons 31-13 in their playoff game.
