Humboldt's legendary hockey helper Elgar Petersen remembered

Humboldt Mayor Rob Muench thinks Elgar Petersen returned to the arena that bears his name Saturday night.
The death of the 82-year-old rink volunteer was announced to the crowd shortly before the game between the Humboldt Broncos and Nipawin Hawks. Nipawin surged to a 2-1 lead, but the Broncos stormed back for a 6-5 shootout victory.
The victory catapulted the Broncos into sole possession of first place in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.
