Hostage Situation-Male Charged

Saskatoon City Police responded, at 4:33 p.m. this afternoon, to a hostage situation in which a female was being held against her will, by her boyfriend.  This took place in the residence shared by the couple, in the 200 block of Willis Crescent.  Patrol units had initially responded and when the male accused began to threaten the life of the female, along with threats to take his own afterwards, the response intensified to include Members of the Crisis Negotiation Team and t
