Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral installs new icon for Centenary project

The Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada on Monday launched its year-long celebration of its 100th anniversary in the place where it was founded.
Iconographer Vera Senchuk was on a scaffold to guild an icon of the Mother of God of Canada on the higher balcony of the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Riversdale during a media conference on Monday.
The parish and UOCC are celebrating their 100th anniversaries. The icon of the Mother of God is the parish’s centennial project.
