Hill wants to consider offering cash for help catching illegal dumpers

Veteran Saskatoon Coun. Darren Hill not only wants higher fines than those recently proposed for illegal dumping, he wants to consider offering cash rewards for catching dumpers.
City hall administration recommended raising the fine for a first-time offence for illegal dumping to $500 from $100. The cost of a second offence would jump from $1,000 from $200 if the changes are approved by city council.
