High-flying air show 'bittersweet' for organizers, attendees

Excitement and wonder filled the air at the Canadian Forces base Dundurn — alongside the planes, helicopters, and parachutists on hand for what could be the area’s final air show.
“It’s kind of a bittersweet time right now,” said volunteer director Brian Swidrovich. “(The show) just draws people together.”
After 22 years involved with the air show, Swidrovich is calling it quits — which could mean the show will end, too, he said.
