Gushue wins second straight Grand Slam of Curling with Masters victory

LLOYDMINSTER, Alta. — Brad Gushue of St. John’s, N.L., defeated Sweden’s Niklas Edin 8-4 on Sunday to capture the Masters Grand Slam of Curling title.
Gushue, who also won the first Grand Slam event of the season — the Tour Challenge in September — never lost a game en route to both championships.
