Group raising money for Cyclone Idai relief efforts in Zimbabwe

A group of Zimbabwean Saskatoon residents are trying to raise money for relief efforts in the country following Cyclone Idai.
Fundraiser organizer Malone Chaya grew up in Zimbabwe’s eastern highlands region, parts of which were made inaccessible due to extensive flooding. Chaya said that as immigrants who “straddle two worlds,” the group is in a unique position to understand the needs of the people affected.
