Group home workers, management return to bargaining table after strike notice

A labour dispute that began last week when about 75 group home employees who have gone four years without a raise issued a strike notice and subsequently stopped providing some services could be nearing an end.
Elmwood Residences Inc. responded by filing an unfair practices complaint against Service Employees International Union (SEIU-West) with the Saskatchewan Labour Relations Board, but the two groups have now agreed to meet.
