Governments provide funding for Sask. affordable housing projects

Affordable housing projects in Saskatchewan will get a financial boost from a partnership between the federal and provincial governments.
The combined investment of $6.7 million will help fund seven housing projects in seven different communities. In Saskatoon, $765,500 will go toward a 10-unit housing project for pre and post-natal women affected or at risk of HIV — the first of its kind in Canada. The City of Saskatoon will also provide an additional $100,000 in funding for the project.
