Garage destroyed by fire in Riversdale neighbourhood

Fire crews responded to a blaze in Saskatoon’s Riversdale neighbourhood on Labour Day Monday that completely destroyed a garage on Avenue I South.
According to a Saskatoon fire department news release, they first received the call that the garage of 415 Avenue I South was on fire at 4:30 p.m. Once crews arrived they reported that the garage had been completely engulfed in flames and immediately began deploying a hose line to get the fire under control.
