Fringe, ribs, racing, railways and Gordie: 5 Things for Aug 3-6

This is always one of the busiest weekends of the year with no reason to stay cooped up inside. Here’s a thing or two to keep you busy:
1 – The Nutrien Fringe Theatre Festival is back for another season. There are plenty of plays to attend, of course. But there is still so much more to the festival, which occupies the Broadway area. It’s lots of fun just hanging out and watching the antics of the buskers and all the other things that make this festival so special.
