Former NHL stars remember Saskatchewan roots at Hometown Hockey
As the streets of downtown Saskatoon filled with hockey fans of all ages, retired NHL player Brenden Morrow pointed to one young boy working on his stick-handling by himself at the corner of the intersection.
“You can get lost in (hockey),” Morrow said. “It brings you back to your childhood, how you first fell in love with it.”
