Food: Barley salad a perfect pick for a pleasant picnic

It’s the second last long weekend of summer, which means you gotta start cramming in all of your summer bucket list wishes, if you haven’t done so already.  Not to be a Debbie Downer, but time is a ticking.  Go on that Ferris Wheel ride.  Take a road trip with your best pals, stopping for ice cream along the way.  Pick cherries and make a pie.  Skinny dip in the lake.  Catch a fish or two, and eat them for supper.  Go see a play in the park.  L
