Five girls arrested after stolen vehicle crashes

Five girls, all under the age of 18, were arrested after a stolen vehicle fled from police and crashed at an intersection. 
The incident began at approximately 5:28 a.m. on Tuesday when police observed a stolen vehicle at Avenue B and 22 Street. Police lost sight of the vehicle as it went southbound, but located it again at 17 St. and Avenue G. Police activated emergency equipment and the vehicle fled southbound on Avenue K. 
Police broke off the chase, but the vehicle continued to fle
