Fire that claimed multiple homes in Montgomery neighbourhood deemed accidental
A fire that broke out in Saskatoon’s Montgomery neighbourhood on Sunday afternoon is not being treated as suspicious and is believed to be accidental in nature, according to a fire department news release.
The fire, which broke out in the 1200 block of Crescent Boulevard, distroyed three homes, two pick-up trucks, two storage trailers and a motorhome and caused additional damage to two more homes, a utility trailer and a convertible. Damage has been estimated to be in excess of $2 million.
