Fire department calls off sonar, dive operations in river search

The Saskatoon Fire Department has called off dive and sonar operations in a search for a person reported to be in the river earlier in the day on Monday.
The search began after 11:00 a.m., after emergency services received a report about a person in distress in the South Saskatchewan River. The search spanned the section of the river between the Sid Buckwold and Gordie Howe bridges, and progressed downstream.
