Fire Chief: Tanker rollover largest haz-mat response in recent memory
The rollover of a tanker truck carrying ammonia gas last week is one of the largest hazardous material responses in the city over the last 30 years, according to chief of the Saskatoon Fire Department.
The incident, which started around 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 12, lasted for about 27 hours and involved a massive response from various municipal, provincial and federal agencies, Chief Morgan Hackl said.
