Federated Co-op revenues, profits climbed sharply in 2017

Following a year of steep declines caused by crumbling energy prices, Saskatchewan’s largest business bounced back in 2017, with both revenues and profits climbing well above last year’s levels.
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) on Thursday reported earning $575 million on revenues totalling $9.8 billion, compared to the $515 million in profit it made on $8.4 billion in revenues during the 2016 fiscal year.
