Faucher back in custody on new charges; manslaughter verdict expected next month

A man accused of killing his girlfriend in an alleged domestic assault almost three years ago is back in custody and faces new charges of violating his release conditions late last month.
Gabriel Joseph Faucher, whose manslaughter trial wrapped up Thursday, was arrested on or about Sept. 20 and charged with breaching release conditions, including a curfew and a requirement to stay in Saskatoon, Crown prosecutor Mitch Piché said.
