Family seeks apology from airline after elderly passenger left behind
An elderly woman’s family is demanding an explanation and apology from WestJet after the 87-year-old was left by herself in an airport terminal for more than seven hours on her way home from Saskatoon.
Shirley Ramsey was stuck at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport for seven hours on Aug. 9 after missing a flight to London, a connection WestJet staff were supposed to help the elderly woman make, her family says.
