Elmwood group home employees ratify contract after bitter dispute

A bitter four-month labour dispute is over after workers at 11 Saskatoon group homes for people with disabilities ratified a new contract, which includes what union officials described as a “fair” wage increase.
About 75 Elmwood Residences Inc. workers launched a limited job action in February after going five years without a raise. They ratified the new contract Friday, according to a news release.
