Driver charged after SUV strikes motorcycle, injuring two

A 33-year-old woman has been charged with disobeying the traffic light after a SUV collided with a motorcycle on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, the driver allegedly failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of 24th Street and 4th Avenue North at around 3:30 p.m.
The collision sent the motorcycle’s two riders, a man, 28, and a woman, 25, to the hospital with what is believed to be minor injuries.
The SUV’s driver faces a charge under the Traffic Safety Act.
