Saskatoon citizens love their dogs. With more than 18,000 licensed dogs in the city, pooches are a common sight everywhere from the park to the patio. Liam Richards captures some local canines and their companions in the StarPhoenix photo series Dogs of Saskatoon.

Breed: Mixed breed of shepherd and basset hound and probably a bunch of others. Her front legs are basset and her back legs are shepherd so they are an inch longer in the back.
