Discharged Bear Spray Incidents

Police are investigating following incidents of bear spray being discharged.At around 10:15 p.m. on June 16, 2025, police were called to the 300 block of Avenue Q South for a report of a youth male being bear sprayed. Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim had been bear sprayed by a group of youth in the alley; he was decontaminated by paramedics and released.
