Diabetes Canada hosts awareness day for at-risk community

One of Canada’s biggest charitable organizations in the fight against diabetes hosted a community outreach day to connect with one of the most at-risk populations for getting the disease. 
South Asian Family Day was organized by Diabetes Canada to reach out to people of South Asian descent — who are at a higher risk to develop type 2 diabetes, according to the press release.
