Developer wants city hall to make solar community a priority
Arbutus Properties president Jeff Drexel appeared before a Saskatoon city council Tuesday to expand on plans for a $1-billion community of 2,200 homes to be powered entirely by rooftop solar panels.
The community is being planned for privately owned farmland on the southeast edge of Saskatoon, east of the city’s Rosewood neighbourhood, most of which is located in the Rural Municipality of Corman Park.
