Day of Mourning to help launch campaign for new transitional homes

An event next week honouring people killed in Saskatoon’s sex trade will help launch a campaign aimed at preventing more people from falling victim to the lifestyle.
On Tuesday, family and supporters will gather at Pleasant Hill Park for the Annual Day of Mourning, a chance to remember the 125 people who have lost their lives due to murder, suicide, disease or overdose. This year marks the 19th year the event has taken place.
