Danny Crate sentenced for manslaughter in Nipawin killing

A 33-year-old man who pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death of Charles Frank Letendre in Nipawin has been sentenced to nearly five and a half years in prison.
With remand credit, Danny Brian Crate will serve a sentence of nearly three years and nine months. Crate was remanded in custody for 425 days, and received credit for 639 days. He appeared by video link for a sentencing hearing at Nipawin Provincial Court on Wednesday.
