Crown stays accessory charge in La Ronge restaurant owner's death

LA RONGE — The Crown has stayed a charge against a man who was arrested in the death of a La Ronge restaurant owner.
Matthew Nagy-Charles, who is 18, had been charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder in the death of Simon Grant.
Grant was killed during a robbery inside his restaurant last April.
Grant’s widow, Cora Laich, says she hopes the Crown can reactivate the charge within the next year.
In October, Austin Bird, who is 19, was sentenced to seven years in prison
