Crews respond to early morning garage fire in Saskatoon

A garage was left heavily damaged by fire on Saskatoon's east side early Friday morning.
 
Firefighters were called to 1020 5th Street East shortly after 5 a.m.
 
They arrived to find smoke and flames pouring out of the garage.
 
Crews were able to get the blaze put out within about 40 minutes.
 
No injuries were reported.
 
Damage to the garage was estimated at $40,000.
 
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
