Convicted killer Terrance Bear granted statutory release

Two-time killer Terrance Vincent Bear was granted statutory release from a federal institution after serving more than 12 years behind bars.
In 2005, Bear was sentenced to 13 years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of manslaughter for the stabbing deaths of Guy Nilson and Ivan Sauve in Prince Albert on May 8, 2004. Inmates are entitled to mandatory statutory release after serving two-thirds of their sentence.
