Collision at 71st Street East and Idylwyld Drive

At 6:53 p.m., police received a report that a collision had occurred at the intersection of 71st Street East and Idylwyld Drive.  A Dodge Caravan was traveling eastbound on 71st Street when it collided with a Kia sedan which was northbound on Idylwyld Drive.  The collision caused the Caravan to tip over on its side.  The driver of the Caravan, an 83 year old male and his 81 year old female passenger were extracted from the Caravan and transported to hospital.
