Co-op, union reach tentative agreement five months into strike

The Saskatoon Co-op strike could end this week, more than five months after it began.
The union representing around 900 striking employees says it reached a tentative agreement with the co-operative’s management during a bargaining session early Sunday morning.
United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1400’s members are expected to vote on the proposal, arranged with a mediator, later this week, union spokesman Rod Gillies said in a statement.
