CN investigating after train carrying grain derails near Landis

CN Railway’s main line west of Saskatoon is closed after a train derailment involving 40 cars carrying grain on Wednesday morning.
The incident took place around 8:15 a.m. near Landis, about 130 kilometres east of Saskatoon.
CN spokesman Patrick Waldron said no one was injured and no dangerous goods were spilled.
“Crews are there and additional crews are on the way to begin a cleanup and a full investigation into what happened this morning,” Waldron said.
