City of Saskatoon report throws cold water on bottled water ban

A ban on bottled water sales seems unlikely at City of Saskatoon facilities, but measures proposed Monday are aimed at reducing sales.
City council’s environment, utilities and corporate services committee considered a city report that doused the possibility of banning bottled water sales at city events and facilities.
Civic facilities are short about 30 water fountains/filling stations to ensure drinking water is available, sales of bottled water at some venues is handled by third parties
