City hall to consider more urgent climate approach

Falling far short of meeting its greenhouse gas emission reduction goals, Saskatoon city council will consider a more aggressive strategy at 2019 budget talks later this month.
A council committee voted Tuesday to consider spending $150,000 next year to try to move forward more quickly on a plan to reduce emissions. Council will decide on that spending at budget deliberations that start Nov. 26.
