City hall staff recommend renewing Community Support Program into 2023

Saskatoon’s Community Support Program workers could spend at least five more years patrolling the streets of Riversdale, downtown and Broadway after a report showed the program has succeeded in increasing engagement with businesses and helping at-risk people.
City council’s planning, development and community services committee is scheduled to discuss a recommendation to renew the program during its Monday meeting. If approved, it will go to council for final approval.
