City hall finds funding for sports complex, children's museum
Money to pay for part of the City of Saskatoon’s $87-million plan to meet demand for recreation needs over the next decade appears to be coming together.
A city council committee on Monday endorsed a proposed plan that finds $11 million for three projects that partner the City of Saskatoon with other organizations.
Most of that $11 million would come from a neighbourhood land development fund dividend, which means it would not result in a city-wide property tax increase.
