City could look at rules for rogue rinks in Saskatoon parks

Efforts to get Saskatoon residents to embrace winter could prompt new rules to allow outdoor rinks on public property.
Coun. Randy Donauer will ask city council next month to consider adopting an application process to allow residents to establish rinks on public properties such as parks.
Donauer said the idea stems from residents on Skeena Crescent in the River Heights neighbourhoods building a rink on adjacent public property.
