Cities may be growing, but we all have our rural roots
As I write this, I am in about the most urban setting you can find in Saskatchewan — a downtown loft with the sounds of traffic and the occasional siren for background noise.
Perhaps this is not the most fitting setting to create an introduction for a publication dedicated to updating readers about the state of agriculture in our province. But like many Saskatchewan people, I have strong rural roots and my mind easily takes me back to my upbringing on a farm south of Weyburn.
