CEW Deployment - Richardson Road

A 50 year old female is in custody this evening following an incident that resulted in Police deploying a Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW).At 8:48 p.m., on December 27, 2022, officers were called to a residence in the 1300 block of Richardson road for a woman in a vulnerable state.  When police arrived they found the female armed with a knife threatening to harm herself.  When officers were unable to de-escalate the situation verbally, a CEW was deployed
