CEW Deployment - 3300 Block Fairlight Drive

A 30-year-old man was transported to hospital as a precaution after a conducted energy weapon (CEW) was deployed shortly after noon today.At approximately 12:00 p.m., August 21, 2018, a Patrol Officer observed a male wanted by Police on a bike in the 3300 block of Fairlight Drive. The male fled on a bike and Police pursued him to a pedestrian tunnel near Clancy Drive and Circle Drive. When confronted by Officers, the man produced a knife and made threats to harm himself. A CEW was deployed
