CEW Deployment-1800 block Idylwyld Drive North

A 44 year-old man is in custody following an incident that resulted in Police deploying a Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW).At approximately 10:43 p.m. on October 14, 2021, a call was received of a male acting in an erratic and violent manner, while in the 1800 block of Idylwyld Drive North.  Repeated attempts were made by Officers to verbally de-escalate the situation, but these efforts were ignored by the male subject.  His behaviour became increasingly violent, and threats of self-harm
