Canadian Pacific potash train derails south of Saskatoon near Blucher

No one was injured when an eastbound Canadian Pacific Railway train carrying potash derailed near Blucher, southeast of Saskatoon.
The train went off the rails around 7:55 a.m. Friday and initial reports indicate that more than 30 cars loaded with potash left the track, CP spokesman Jeremy Berry said in an email.
Berry said CP immediately implemented its emergency response protocols and mobilized teams to the site, approximately 30 kilometres from Saskatoon.
